the colour didnt come out very well, it was a nice green! |
A couple of weeks ago I was pottering in the garden and decided to make this,
a miniature garden, I want to make some toadstools to go with it, when I get round to it! and look for a few more tiny plants but it's a start.
Couldn't resist this one......
Colin, Tammy and Lucy - its hard to see where one starts and the others stop, these are the original 3 and are quite content with each other, most of the time!! lol
Hubby has a new model, it was his birthday just before Christmas and so decided to buy this with his gifted money
its a quadcopter, good job he has had practice with his other helicopers as this one is quite a challenge to fly.
I think there is a larger one he wishes to build too but that one will carry a camera.
Yesterday Rebecca had a lovely surprise, she was contacted by a charity called Grant a wish saying she had been nominated to receive a wish of her choice. How wonderful - she was completely blown away and has no idea who nominated her but she is thinking hard about her wish and has something nice to look forward to which I'm sure will help in the healing process. There are some really lovely people out there who do some wonderful things.
take care
I am so pleased for Rebecca that something good has happened to her, it will give her a boost I am sure. I love your miniature garden, it is so cute!! Not sure about the quadcopter, that looks like a very tricky thing to fly, I think that I would stay well away from that!! xx
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely boost for Rebecca, she deserves it. i have had the little fairies for quite a time and thought they needed their own garden, must get round to finishing it! its amazing just how much down draught the quadcopter makes
Deletehow fun for Rebecca... looking forward to hearing what she chooses.... I love soup - especially in winter and my favourite with broccoli or cauliflwer is some grated blue cheese... of course you need to like blue cheese! that quadcopter could be a problem with a camera... he can send it to watch you hiding your fabrics?????

i think she might be erring on the side of a spa break, but not sure yet. The blue cheese sounds nice with the soup have to try it. The weight ratio is one small problem I think, but the camera will be about matchbox size. Wouldn't it be spooky to suddenly see it hovering near you, big brother!!!!
DeleteSuch a lovely 'normal' post, Chrissie - soup, mini gardens, cats, quadcopters (OK, that's a bit unusual) - and a lovely thing happening for Rebecca. So good to read. Axxx
ReplyDeleteThanks Annie, yes normal is what is needed now, although that may pose the question 'what is normal' lol
DeleteHow lovely for Rebecca, she certainly deserves something good happening for her. I wonder what she'll choose. Those pussy cats are so cute, I had a bit of trouble working out which head belonged to which body.
