It´s been cold, dull and yukky which doesn´t entice you outside, but nice to keep warm by the log burner.
Chris has been using our outside, open naya as his place to go to do his painting, but it´s been too cold for that too. I thought I´d share a couple of his latest ones.
Tiggywinkle decided to join in the funThis is Saffie, a very independent girl although affectionate on her terms
The view for this painting is from the top road looking over to the village with the almond blossom.
He has another one on the go, a scene of the plaza and church.
Right, lunch then a little knitting I think

Dear Chrissie
ReplyDeleteCats just have to be involved in what is going on, don't they? Chris' paintings are great.
Best wishes
Ellie
Amazing the tight spots they get themselves into. Chris is really enjoying his new hobby, I hardly see him lol xcx
DeleteAwww, so funny to see the cats trying to squeeze themselves into the box. I love the painting of Saffie.
ReplyDeleteThank you, he has moved on to a scene of our plaza, needs different techniques, he had good practice painting fine lines by doing the faces of the 1/12th scale dolls xcx
DeleteSmashing almond blossom painting! I hope to go for a drive up in the mountains near Castalla this weekend to see the almond blossom and take a few photos. Cats are such busybodies they can't resist snooping around LOL! keep well Amanda x Crafty in the Med
ReplyDeleteWe keep the door of our guest room closed, mainly from the time when Rebecca was ill , but it´s a habit now, all the cats wait to hear the door opening and try to dash through to explore. Hope you managed to get your trip to the mountains. xcx
