Tin Garden Lady

It was my birthday last Tuesday, I had a lovely day with Chris and Rebecca.  Lunch in the mountains, super presents and wonderful company.  Chris gave me a little fun pressie a tin garden lady who dances in the breeze. Scented candles, super earrings, essential oil difuser, beautiful necklace and the cutest hefferlumps aww, there is a story behind the hefferlumps but I shall save that for another day, to list a few, really spoilt.

I have been working on the samples for the charity craft day and I am quite pleased with the results, few more to do and more kits to make up.  I even took photos along the way for the fabric flowers and with Chris's help turned it into a tutorial sheet.

Rebecca and I are counting down the days until we are off on our adventure.  Just 6 days to go.  We are flying to the UK to visit Daniel and Shine, can't wait to collect the hugs and cuddles, spending some girlie time shopping together before Rebecca continues on to visit her oldest and best friends.
Seems lots still to do and organise as I want to order some supplies so I can bring them back with me.
Better get on with it then!!
take care

    1. Thanks Jo, yes wasn't I the lucky girl. I am hoping to visit the Range in Exeter during our visit as they have quirky garden ornaments and I love popping something different amongst the beds. Fingers crossed for the weather, we have been told to pack jumpers and rain macs! xx

  3. Hello Chrissie
Thank you for visiting my blog. A very happy birthday although belated. You have certainly been spoilt and I do love that colourful garden lady. It reminds me of the garden ornaments in my mother's garden in Devon. Her garden was not a nice and everything in its place garden but a look around and see what you can see under a bush, behind a rock what is hanging from the tree ,garden. There was always something different. I used to take out a mug of tea sit on the garden bench and just look around so relaxing :-) Very windy here in the city! Is it breezing where you are ?

    keep well

    Amanda :-)

    1. That sounds like my kind of garden too, neat rows and tidy beds are really not me, sounds like a lovely place to chill out. We have a fair few of those kind of places at the farm Nr Tiverton, just needed more sunshine! We have had high winds here too, battered everything, we have had to have all the roof tiles straightened and alot of the pots with seedlings in were flung around the courtyard, so drying too, have to water twice a day. Mustn't complain as I think the UK is about 12 today - ouch!
